About Dig Alderney

Investigating and Promoting Alderney’s Archeology

Dig Alderney investigates and promotes the archaeology of Alderney, in the Channel Islands.

We conduct research, excavations and surveys, plus post-excavation work. Publication of our discoveries and public engagement via lectures, broadcast media and online resources is an integral part of our mission.

Our team of qualified archaeologists and experienced excavators are all volunteers.

Dig Alderney’s projects are financed by charitable donations and direct support from Channel Islands institutions.
