Join the adventure! Over the coming months we will be populating this site with up to date news, archival information on our past excavations and reference material for Alderney’s historic sites.
You’ll also find day-by-day accounts of excavations on our Facebook page and selective videos on the Guernsey Archaeology Youtube Channel.
Feel free to share our posts on social media, but please ask permission before using images in publications or for commercial purposes. We always welcome your comments and messages. And as a charity we also welcome your support, whether financial or assistance in kind.
Look out for announcements of future excavations. We have an established team of professional archaeologists and experienced volunteers, but every season we welcome new diggers – we all started somewhere! If you’re less physically active we also need other practical support during excavations, so don’t hesistate to get in touch.
Thanks to Nick Mann of The Quarry for his assistance in setting up this website.
